Old 600's rustic house, surrounded by olive trees and transformed into a noble villa. A lot of restoration work has been carried out over time, respecting the villa's original architecture and retaining all of its original characteristics, such as: marble, slate, stone walls and wooden work. Together with its period furniture and fittings, Villa il Respiro is a special and serene place in which to spend one's relaxing moments.
Located along the old Roman Way, which led inland from the coast, and perched on a promontory, the villa dominates the Gulf of Tigullio. From here one can admire Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure e Rapallo on one side, and Chiavari, Lavagna and Sestri Levante on the other.
Due to such a central position all the main resorts in the Tigullio Gulf can be easily reached. From its garden, and by means of typically Ligurian steps, one can also have access to the beach of Marina di Bardi.
